Liam Owen was born in Arlington, Texas on March 8, 1972. Always one to entertain, he focused all his time on acting and writing. At the age of 19, Liam left college and began traveling the country in a variety of touring stage productions. By the age of 25 he had returned to college and started focusing on a film career. His overall desire to be in front of the camera subsided to some degree when he began writing feature films. His latest film is a dark comedy entitled, When the Fat Man Sings that he co-wrote with his writing partner Tim Hintsala. This movie is slated for production in 2010. Future films include a western entitled Last Rites, a comedy called The Southern Cross, and an exploration of modern society entitled The Beaten Generation.
His great-uncle was Grady Owen, Bassist for Gene Vincent & The Blue Caps.Has two boys: Riley and Tristan.Is an avid writer of poetry and screenplays.Is of Irish, Welsh, and Cherokee decent.Does most of his writing with his co-writer, Tim Hintsala.
